Recent News - 2008 Officers Elected
2008 Officer elections were held at the field today. With more than 50% of the Club Members present,Vice-President Wilson Thorpe called the meeting to order shortly after lunch. It was brought to everyones attention that the Club Charter was due at the end of the month and officers had to be elected for 2008 before the application could be sent off.
Mr. Wilson had spoken with different members previously about being officers. Mike Keene had expressed interest in being Club President if the members agreed and Fred Barber had volunteered to be both Secretary and Treasurer. Mr. Wilson volunteered to remain Vice-President if that was what the club wanted. A motion was made to accept the officers nominated
and motion was agreed by everyone. The new officers for 2008 are:
