Randy Gantt, 45, of Brunswick, GA passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick. A life long native of Brunswick he was the son of Thomas and Mary Bowlin. He attended Brunswick High School. He had been in the fire protection business 26 years working with AAA Fire Protection and AllSafe Fire Protection before going into his own business Greasebusters Steam Cleaning Company. He was a member of the Coastal Plains RC Club where he served as President. Randy was very active in the community and enjoyed teaching the young and old how to fly radio control airplanes. He enjoyed dressing up as Rudolph and riding along with Santa (Fred Barber) during Christmas time. Some of Randy’s accomplishments in life was to be known as “Knight Flight” entering his purple 94 Sonoma Truck in the Nopi Nationals competitions and winning in Georgia and Florida. His truck was recently displayed in seven national magazines known for Best Show. Recently he was getting it ready to put it back in the Low Rider truck showing trails. In the eyes of many young truckers he was a star. Logan Gantt will now be the showman and take pride to fill in where his father left off. He took great pride in riding his Goldwing along with the Blue Knights Memorial Riders and fundraisers. All his friends, business owners, workers even people he just met liked and loved his cheerful ways and smiling face. Randy loved his family more than life itself.
